The walkthrough
I start where the money starts
Who are your customers, and how do they pay you. Cash handling, card processing, gift certificates. How payments actually get into the ledger. What runs payroll, how those entries land in the books, who files the returns. How bills get paid, and whether the reconciliations are happening or just scheduled.
Every business has the same three big ones. Receivables, payables, payroll. Get those flowing without a human retyping anything and most of the pain stops. Past them, the review goes as deep as the organization does.

Sized to the organization
A four person farm stand and a company with separate A/R and A/P departments do not get the same review, and I won't pretend they do. There is no flat package. The walkthrough goes where the organization goes, and the price follows the scope.
The deliverable
You get it in writing
You get the findings in plain English. What's sound, what's fragile, what's quietly costing you money, and the order I'd fix it in. A prioritized fix list, not a sales pitch.
Most clients take the list and have me build the fixes. Some take it to their own bookkeeper. Both count as success, and you don't have to decide any of that up front.
